Does Chevening cover MBA?
The answer is YES. I attended an MBA course at a university in the UK and received a Chevening Scholarship without any problems. The scholarship student who received it at the same time as me was also an MBA student, and a man I met at an event from South Korea who is from the Ministry of Finance, also told me he was studying for an MBA.
tuition Cap for MBA students
If you apply for MBA with Chevening Scholarship, you need to know a thing. Generally speaking, a tuition for MBA course is expensive comparing to other postgraduate courses. Therefore, a Chevening Scholarship has a cap for tuition. The official website explains the policy as bellow.
You are offered an award to study an MBA. The Chevening contribution to the tuition fee is capped at £22,000. You will be expected to fund the difference. You may be required to demonstrate that you hold sufficient funding to cover the remaining tuition fee costs.

How did I pay my MBA tuition?
In my case, my tuitions was more than £22,000. Chevening Scholarship paid £22,000. I needed to pay the rest of tuition, but since my university is a Chevening partner university, they gave me additional discount (£10,000). Therefore, I paid much lesser amount, but I needed to pay it from my saving and another scholarship.
I was fortunate since I had another Scholarship “Rotary Foundation Scholarship”. I did not have to worry about the funding, but many MBA students worried about money during the school life. Some students rented a money from their parents, some did from banks. Studying in the UK is expensive. Actually I spend more than what I planned although I cook every day and brought my lunch box to school.
